How does this device read the sender?
How it works
- Phone camera. On the phone, open this page (on iPhone: Receive in Safari) or the LensBolt app on Android, and choose Phone camera. Hold the phone so the square on the computer's screen fills most of the picture; the guide says when it reads.
- Webcam, PC to PC. On the computer that receives, open this page and choose Webcam. Turn its camera, or the other laptop, so the sender's square fills most of the picture.
- Share a window, one computer. When a window on this computer shows the sender (a VM, a remote desktop, or another computer's screen shared to this one), choose Share a window and pick that window. Nothing to aim or hold; choose Fastest on the sender.
Each file is offered once its SHA-256 matches the sender's. Nothing is sent back to the sender.
